Chilled-out base for exploring Antigua. Quiet hotel, easy going staff. Comfortable position in Antigua. Also, easy to get to Ayuntamiento. The rooms with private bathrooms and the shower, for instance. A wide range of goodies for breakfast...

the stuff was kind plus the location was marvellous and unbeatable. the twin room we stayed in was clean for my backpack bathroom.

There were very uncomfortable beds in our room.

During my recent visit to Antigua, I stayed at Alma Maya for 5 nights. the warm and welcoming staff, convenient location near the bus station and market, real hot water showers, clean and spacious rooms, and the ability to store luggage during my hike were truly appreciated. the hostel's reasonable prices and delicious breakfast and lunch options made my stay even more enjoyable.

Would recommend this hotel.
